Customizing Call Sampling with Section Attributes
Business admins can enable section attributes for the Samples and Promotional Items section of the call report to further customize the behavior of the Samples and Promotional Items section on the call report and enable additional Call Sampling functionality.
Validation Disclaimer
Call Sampling features available in the 24R1.4 release are released without validation. Call Sampling requires enablement and does not affect other Vault CRM functionality. Call Sampling features were extensively tested by our QA team during the development and release process and will go through validation with the 24R2.0 release in August.
Who can use this feature?

Configuring Section Attributes for Call Sampling for
End Users
To enable section attributes for call sampling:
- Ensure the following configuration is complete:

Select the appropriate check boxes for the samples_section__v section of the call2__v layout to enable section attributes, as needed:

Enables the signature action regardless of whether samples are selected
Mass Add Samples Enables mass add for samples
Mass Sample and Promo Items
Enables mass add for samples and promotional items
No Alternative Samples
Alternative sample product records are not displayed
No BRC BRC/sample request product catalog records are not displayed
No High Value Promo Items
High value promotional product records are not displayed
No Other Products Reprints and custom items do not display on the call report
No Promo Items Promotional items do not display on the call report
Non-PDMA Sampling Enables non-PDMA sampling; validation criteria is not enforced for signature date or sample card numbers
No Sample License No Signature Bypass sample license validation and signature requirement for sample disbursements
No Sample License Bypass sample license validation for sample disbursements
No Samples Sample products do not display on the call report; users can only select BRC products or promotional items
Ship to Business Location BRCs can be shipped to business locations, in addition to account addresses
