Classic Coaching Reports
Business admins can create targeted forms for coaching and mentoring between managers and employees. Using Coaching Reports can help ensure employees and managers are having conversations for mentoring and incentive compensation, and can be used to provide an evaluation and constructive feedback.
For example, a manager creates a coaching report for an employee after a ride along is complete to provide an evaluation and to offer constructive feedback. Predefined criteria for evaluating the employee might include strategic planning, HCP relationship, or delivery of key messages. At the end of ride along, the manager coaches the employee based on what they observed and captures the observations in a coaching report.

Configuring Coaching Reports for
Business Admins
To configure this feature:
- Navigate to Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets.
- Select the appropriate permission set.
- Select Objects.

Grant CRED permission to the coaching_report__v object.

Grant Edit permission to all fields on the coaching_report__v object.
Managers
To configure this feature:
- Navigate to Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets.
- Select the appropriate permission set.
- Select Objects.

Grant Edit permission to the coaching_report__v object.

Activate the appropriate coaching_report__v VMOCs for mobile devices.
Employees
To configure this feature:
- Navigate to Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets.
- Select the appropriate permission set.
- Select Objects.

Grant Read permission to the coaching_report__v object.

Grant Read permission to the following fields on the coaching_report__v object:
- manager__v
- employee__v
- status__v
- review_date__v
- Activate the appropriate coaching_report__v VMOCs for mobile devices.
Using Coaching Reports as
Business Admin Users
Business admin users design the coaching report workflow between managers and employees, design the individual coaching reports including questions to be answered, and make coaching reports available to managers using permissions. Can add custom functionality such as displaying last coaching report, displaying sales activity and ranking, and creating follow up tasks based on coaching report responses.
Managers
Managers Initiate, view, edit, and complete coaching reports, then share finalized reports with employees. Managers create a coaching report and send it to the employee to review it. Managers can edit reports they created.
Browser users can print coaching reports using the Printable View link.
Employees
Employees view coaching reports from managers. Employees can access Coaching Reports from the tab on the iPad Home screen. Coaching reports are displayed by Report Date in descending order.
The employee is the owner of the record and has read-only privileges, allowing them to view the report but not edit it.
