Saving Records on Mobile Devices as System
End users can create and save records in the Vault CRM mobile application even when they do not have access to data referenced on those records, ensuring user activity and data are always captured in Vault CRM. When these records are created or saved, if the record has references to records the user does not currently have access to, then the Created By or Modified By user stamped on the record is System. This typically occurs after territory realignments.
For example, an end user meets with an HCP and soon after, the HCP moves out of the end user's assigned territory. The end user does not sync the territory update and can still view the account on their device. They can record a call against that account to document the recent meeting and sync the data to the online database. However, since the end user no longer has access to the account, the Created By user stamped on the call record is System.
