Supporting Layout Rules on Mobile Devices
Customers can define layout rules for objects to create dynamic layouts based on the data within a record, ensuring records only display relevant data for end users. For example, a field can be made read-only or required, depending on the value of another field.

Viewing and Editing Records with Layout Rules as

For layout rules to execute correctly, end users must have at least Read field permission to all fields referenced in a layout rule. Otherwise, the layout rule is skipped during execution.
When end users create or edit records in Vault CRM on a mobile device, layout rules are executed as end users enter data. For example, when editing a record, selecting a specific picklist value can display a new section or make another field required.
If all sections and fields on a page are hidden due to layout rules, an error message displays.
