Order Header Overview
The order header contains information that applies to the total order, for example delivery information, payment information, and commercial conditions for the order. Commercial conditions can determine which pricing rules apply to the order.
Commercial Conditions
- account__v – The account for which the order controls the pricing rules of the Account and Account Partner Price Book levels of the Pricing Rule Hierarchy that can apply to the order. The selected account can affect the available assortments, campaigns, contracts, object types, price books, and wholesalers for the order. This field cannot be edited.
- account_group__v – The account group that the account for which the order is placed belongs to controls the pricing rules for the Account Group level of the Pricing Rule Hierarchy that can apply to the order. The selected account group can affect the available assortments and campaigns for the order. This field is stamped based on the account and cannot be edited.
- assortment__v – The selected assortment for the order determines the visual display of sections and products. The selected assortment can affect the available products for the order if the assortment is price bound.
- contract__v – The selected contract for the order controls the pricing rules for the Campaign and Contract and Contract levels of the Pricing Rule Hierarchy that can apply to the order. The selected contract can affect the available products for the order if the contract is product bound.
- last_inventory_monitoring__v – The last inventory monitoring determined for the order determines which inventory monitoring record is considered for last inventory monitoring pricing subrules for chain pricing rules. This field cannot be edited by the user, but can be updated after an order is created based on the latest inventory monitoring information.
- local_currency__sys – The selected currency for the order controls the pricing rules that are applied on all levels of the Pricing Rule Hierarchy.
- object_type__v – The selected object type for the order can affect the available assortments, order campaigns, and price books for the order.
- order_campaign__v – The selected order campaign for the order controls the pricing rules for the Campaign and Contract and Campaign levels of the Pricing Rule Hierarchy that can apply to the order. If the selected order campaign is campaign bound, only pricing rules from the Campaign and Contract and Campaign levels of the Pricing Rule Hierarchy can apply to the order. The selected order campaign can affect the available assortments for the order.
- order_date__v – The selected order date for the order controls the pricing rules that are applied on all levels of the Pricing Rule Hierarchy.
- price_book__v – The selected price book for the order controls the pricing rules for the Account Partner Price Book level of the Pricing Rule Hierarchy that can apply to the order.
- wholesaler_account_partner__v – The selected wholesaler for the order controls the pricing rules for the Account Partner Price Book level of the Pricing Rule Hierarchy that can apply to the order.
When editing an order__v record on iPad, or Windows, end users can change the object type as long as it is not submitted. This allows users to select an object type besides the account’s default.
