Delivery Period Pricing Rules
Delivery Period pricing rules define available delivery dates for products or minimum allowed times between deliveries.
Allowed Delivery Periods
Order admins can use Allowed Delivery Periods to prevent delivery dates from being selected when products are out of stock, off season, or in a pre-order period.
Unlike other pricing rules, order admins can create multiple Allowed Delivery Period pricing rules with overlapping start dates and end dates. For example, order admins can create two Allowed Delivery Period pricing rules with overlapping start dates and end dates to allow delivery for a product in June and August, but not July.
Minimum Delivery Periods
Order admins can use Minimum Delivery Periods to minimize shipping costs and avoid excess inventory. For example, order admins can create a Delivery Period pricing rule to restrict delivery orders from being scheduled within 30 days of each other.
Minimum Delivery Period pricing rules can overlap with Allowed Delivery Period pricing rules but not other Minimum Delivery Period pricing rules.

Using Allowed Delivery Periods as

When selecting a delivery date for an order, the delivery date must be within the Allowed Delivery Period for the order and all products included in the order. If the delivery date is not within the Allowed Delivery Period for the order, an error displays when the delivery date is selected. If the delivery date is not within the Allowed Delivery Period for a product in the order, an error displays when added to the order.
Product Type
- If Delivery Pricing Rule product_type__v equals order__v, the allowed delivery period applies to the product
- If Delivery Pricing Rule product_type__v equals null, the allowed delivery period applies to the order, regardless of products in the order
- If Delivery Pricing Rule product_type__v equals detail__v, the allowed delivery period applies to all products in the brand
- If Delivery Pricing Rule product_type__v equals product_group__v, the allowed delivery period applies to all products in the product group. If a product belongs to multiple product groups, only one allowed delivery period from the product groups needs to be fulfilled.
Creating Minimum Delivery Period Pricing Rules as

If the delivery date does not meet the Minimum Delivery Period, the delivery date cannot be selected.
