Using X-Pages Business Portals

X-Pages Business Portals provide simplified, web-based views of key CRM records, for example Account Plans, designed for users who need high-level information without navigating the full Vault CRM application. The standard Vault CRM user interface is simplified to display only the essential information, presenting a clean and focused experience. Business Portal pages are accessed through a direct, shareable link.

X-Pages Business Portals streamline how strategic information is shared with leadership, providing several key benefits:

  • Increases Efficiency - KAMs can quickly share a direct link to a specific Account Plan's portal view, replacing the manual effort of preparing and sending the information
  • Customizable - Customers can create a wide range of customized pages using X-Pages Studio or custom code
  • Provides Real-Time Data - Executives can access live information by simply selecting a bookmarked link, eliminating the need for static and quickly outdated exports or screenshots
  • Simplified User Experience - The portal can offer a straightforward, clean, view-only experience

This feature is designed for two primary user groups:

  • Executives - Leaders who need to monitor the status of strategic accounts in real-time but do not use Vault CRM for their daily work
  • Key Account Managers (KAMs) - Users who are responsible for Account Plans within CRM. They prepare, preview, and share portal links with executives.

An X-Pages Studio page template, KAM Business Portal, is available for Content creators to create a page for users who need access to account plan information for key accounts, for example Key Account Managers (KAMs) and Executives.
