## Product Plans

Product plans outline the strategies and tactics for individual products or brands. They serve as a roadmap for guiding sales teams and ensuring alignment between brand teams and field reps.

### Configuring Product Plans for

To configure this feature:

1. Grant the following permissions:

   | Object | Object Permission | Object Type | Fields | Field Permission |
   | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
   | product\_plan\_\_v | CRED | n/a | * active\_\_v * description\_\_v * product\_\_v * name\_\_v * product\_plan\_status\_\_v | edit |
   | product\_strategy\_\_v | CRED | n/a | * active\_\_v * description\_\_v * product\_plan\_\_v * name\_\_v * strategy\_type\_\_v | edit |
   | product\_tactic\_\_v | CRED | n/a | * active\_\_v * description\_\_v * name\_\_v * product\_strategy\_\_v * type\_\_v | edit |
2. Create a tab for the **product\_plan\_\_v** object.
3. Grant users access to the created **Product Plans** tab.

Activity can be tracked against product strategies and tactics on the call report. To configure product plan usage in the call report, see the following:

Product plans cannot be deleted once the related strategies and tactics are referenced by an in progress or submitted call.

### Using Product Plans as

To create a product plan:

1. Navigate to the **Product Plans** tab.

2. Select the **Create** button.

3. Enter a **Product Plan Name**.
4. Enter a **Product**.
5. Select **Save**.

After creating the product plan, KAMs can associate call discussions and medical discussions to product strategies and product tactics.
