## Viewing Stakeholder Navigator from an Account Plan

Key Account Managers (KAMs) can access Stakeholder Navigator from an account plan to better understand the hierarchy and affiliations for the account. Stakeholder Navigator highlights key stakeholders on the selected plan by displaying blue borders around their account tiles, making them easy to identify.

### Configuring Stakeholder Navigator from Account Plans for

To configure this feature:

1. Ensure [Configuring Account Plans](../Config/ConfiguringAccountPlans.htm)  and [Stakeholder Navigator](../../Accounts/UsingAccounts/StakeholderNavigator.htm) are complete.
2. Navigate to **Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets**.
3. Select the appropriate permission set.
4. Select the **Objects** tab.
5. Grant the following permissions:

   | Object | Object Permission | Object Type | Fields | Field Permission |
   | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
   | child\_account\_\_v | R | None | * primary\_\_v | Read |
   | key\_stakeholder\_\_v (optional) | R | All applicable object types | * account\_plan\_\_v * key\_stakeholder\_\_v | Read |
6. Grant View access to the **Stakeholder Navigator** object action on the account\_plan\_\_v object.
7. Navigate to **Admin > Configuration > Objects > account\_plan\_\_v > Object Types > Actions**.
8. Enable the **stakeholder\_navigator\_\_v** action on appropriate account\_plan\_\_v object types.
9. Enable iPad users to access Stakeholder Navigator from Account Plans:
   * Navigate to **Business Admin > Objects > Veeva Settings**
   * Ensure the Stakeholder Navigator Account Plan Types Veeva Setting is populated with STAKEHOLDER\_NAVIGATOR\_ACCT\_PLAN\_TYPES;;STAKEHOLDER\_NAVIGATOR
   * Populate the **kam\_enable\_\_v** Veeva Setting with 1
   * Navigate to the **Veeva Messages** object
   * Populate the **STAKEHOLDER\_NAVIGATOR\_ACCT\_PLAN\_TYPES;;STAKEHOLDER\_NAVIGATOR** Veeva Message with the appropriate Account Plan object types in a semi-colon delimited list. For example: account\_plan\_\_v

To view Stakeholder Navigator from an account plan:

1. Navigate to an account plan.
2. Select **All Actions > Stakeholder Navigator**.

Stakeholder Navigator displays with the account from the plan as the root account. Accounts that are key stakeholders are displayed with blue borders when the user has access to the key\_stakeholder\_\_v object. This allows KAMs to more easily identify key stakeholders when viewing the hierarchy in Stakeholder Navigator.

To view all key stakeholders, even if they do not match applied filters, select the Always Show Key Stakeholders filter. This option is only available from the Account Plans entry point.
