## Vault CRM Campaigns

Campaigns allow customers to track accounts tied to individual marketing efforts. Campaigns and their respective targeted accounts can be loaded into Veeva or created by privileged users. Users can be granted permission to add or remove individual accounts from a campaign, and they also have the option of adding accounts from a stored account list to simplify mass entry.

If a manager needs a user to track a marketing promotion for a product, the user can create a campaign, add accounts, and track the information for each account.

Customers can extend the out-of-the-box campaign functionality using standard configuration to meet their unique business needs.

### Configuring Vault CRM Campaigns for

To configure this feature:

1. Ensure [Configuring Accounts](../AcctConfig.htm) is complete.
2. Grant the following permissions:

   | Object | Object Permission | Object Type | Fields | Field Permission |

   | campaign\_\_v | R | n/a | n/a | n/a |
   | campaign\_target\_\_v | CR | n/a | n/a | n/a |

3. Add a custom tab for the campaign\_\_v object and grant access to it for profiles creating campaigns on browser. Profiles with read privileges on the campaign\_\_v object automatically have access to the Campaigns tab.
4. Activate VMOC records for the campaign\_\_v and campaign\_target\_\_v objects. It is recommended to limit the records being synchronized to only those that are active. For example, set the Where Clause for the campaign\_\_v object to “WHERE campaign\_\_v\_r.start\_date\_\_v\_\_c <= TODAY AND campaign\_\_v\_r.end\_date\_\_v\_\_c > TODAY”.

Although users can view campaign targets on the iPad platform, campaigns can only be created on the browser platform. To create a Veeva campaign:

1. Select the **New** action from the campaigns\_\_v tab.
2. Enter the campaign information and select **Save**.
3. Select **New Campaign Target** to add accounts to the campaign.
