## Using Location Based Targeting in Align

To enable more specific targeting rules, which may be required in markets using child accounts, Align supports assigning child accounts to MCCPs, enabling targeting and activity goals based on an account's activity at a specific location.

### Configuring Location Based Targeting for

To configure this feature:

1. Ensure the following features are configured:

   * [Using Targeting in Align](Targeting.htm)
   * [Configuring Multichannel Cycle Plans](../../CyclePlans/MCCP/ConfigMCCP.htm)
2. Navigate to **Admin > Configuration > Objects > mc\_cycle\_\_v > Layouts**.
3. Place the **Support Child Account Targets** field on the appropriate layouts.

### Enabling Location Based Targeting for a Multichannel Cycle as

To enable Location Based Targeting for a specific Multichannel Cycle:

1. Edit to the appropriate **mc\_cycle\_\_v record**.
2. Select **Yes** for the Support Child Account Targets picklist.
3. Select **Save**.

If this feature is enabled for a cycle, it cannot be disabled. Enabling this feature for a cycle does not automatically enable this feature for other cycles.
