## Managing Field Forces

Field forces are a collection of Align territories sharing a common focus and are grouped together for reporting purposes. Align operational users can create and define field forces, streamlining the overall territory management process.

To configure this feature, ensure [Configuring Align](../../Configuration/ConfiguringAlign.htm) is complete.

### Viewing Field Forces as

The Field Forces tab contain the following sub-tabs:

* List – Active records display in a grid layout. Users can select column headers to sort the list.
* Hierarchy – Displays the records as a tree structure. Users can navigate the hierarchy by expanding and collapsing branches of the structure.

Navigate to an individual aln\_field\_force\_\_v record by selecting it from the Field Forces tab or from a related record.
