## Recommended Targets in Align

Align operations users can designate certain high-impact accounts as recommended targets in a model territory. These recommended targets are displayed to end users in Territory Feedback, where they can add the account as a target and define target goals, improving the efficacy of the territory during the Multichannel Cycle.

### Configuring Recommended Targets for

To configure this feature:

1. Ensure the following features are configured:

   * [Configuring Align](../Configuration/ConfiguringAlign.htm)
   * [Configuring Territory Feedback](Config/Configuration.htm)
2. Navigate to **Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets**.
3. Select the appropriate permission set.
4. Select the **Objects** tab.
5. Grant the following permissions:

   | aln\_recommended\_target\_model\_\_v | CRED | recommended\_target\_\_v | * account\_\_v * account\_id\_\_v * location\_\_v * territory\_model\_\_v * mc\_cycle\_\_v * attempted\_to\_add\_\_v * external\_id\_\_v | Edit |

### Defining Recommended Targets as

Align operations users can define recommended targets for a particular model territory:

1. Navigate to **Business Admin > Objects > aln\_recommended\_target\_model\_\_v**.
2. Select **Create**.
3. Populate the following fields:

   * account\_\_v – Select the appropriate account
   * location\_\_v – Define the account as a target for a specific location when using [location based targeting](../Targeting/LocationBasedTargeting.htm)
   * territory\_\_model\_\_v – Select the appropriate aln\_territory\_model\_\_v record
   * mc\_cycle\_\_v – Select the appropriate Multichannel Cycle that the recommended target applies to
4. Select **Save**.

Align operations users can also create many recommended targets at once via data-loading.

### Adding Recommended Targets as

End users can view a list of recommended targets within Territory Feedback:

1. Navigate to the [Edit Alignments](TerrFeedback.htm#Future) screen in Territory Feedback. Recommended targets display in the table with a **Recommended** badge.

2. Select **Add Recommended Targets** from the All Actions menu to filter the Edit Alignments list to only display recommended targets.

3. Select the appropriate accounts.
4. Select **Continue**.
5. Adjust the **Goals** for the selected targets.

6. Select **Save**.
7. Select the applicable **Reasons** for adding the accounts as targets.
8. Select **Done**.
