## Resetting Vault CRM User Passwords in Align

Align operational users can reset user’s passwords via their associated aln\_roster\_member\_\_v record in Align. When a roster member marked for a password reset is pushed to Vault CRM, the associated user is notified to reset their password via Vault’s standard reset password email.

To configure this feature:

1. Ensure [Configuring Align](../Configuration/ConfiguringAlign.htm) is complete.
2. Ensure all appropriate aln\_roster\_member\_\_v records are [mastered by Align](UserMgmt.htm#Designat).

### Resetting Vault CRM User Passwords as

To mark a user’s password for resetting:

1. Navigate to the appropriate **aln\_roster\_member\_\_v** record.
2. Select the **reset\_crm\_password\_\_v** checkbox.
3. Select **Save**.

When the next push to CRM occurs, the user’s password is reset and the reset\_crm\_password\_\_v field on the appropriate aln\_roster\_member\_\_v record automatically updates to No.

#### Resetting User Passwords and Updating Email Addresses

If the roster member’s email is edited during the same push to CRM as a requested password reset, the user’s password is not reset during the push. The reset\_crm\_password\_\_v field on the appropriate aln\_roster\_member\_\_v record is not updated. This is because the user must first verify their updated email address. After the user verifies the updated email address, the next push to Vault CRM will reset their password.
