## Configuring Call Planning

Call Planning consists of several different objects for displaying account information and scheduling calls and activities:

#### Account Information

* account\_\_v - This is the initial object for working with accounts. The account object stores all basic account information.
* address\_\_v - This object stores all account profile addresses

#### Calls

* call2\_\_v - This object stores all of the information for planned, saved, and submitted calls, including the account, address, territory, and date and time for each call. A record is created for each account on a call.
* call\_cycle\_entry\_\_v - If users create call cycles, this object stores the information for each call in the weekly cycle. For example, account name, start time, end time, day of the week, and product priority.

#### Additional Activities

* time\_off\_territory\_\_v - This object stores information on time blocked off for personal reasons, for example vacation, sick days, or jury duty
* medical\_event\_\_v - If [Displaying Medical Events in My Schedule](Managing/MedEvents.htm) is enabled, information from this object displays in My Schedule
* event\_attendee\_\_v - This is a child object of medical\_event\_\_v. A record is created for each account or user invited to a Medical Event.
* multichannel\_activity\_\_v - This object stores session information for multichannel interactions. If [Associating Unassigned Presentations with Calls](Managing/SaveforLater.htm) is enabled, unassigned presentations display in My Schedule.
* multichannel\_activity\_line\_\_v - This object stores detailed information about what occurred during an interaction. For example, key messages, slide order, and presentation duration.

### Configuring Call Planning for

To configure this module:

1. Ensure the following configuration is complete:
   * [Configuring Call Reporting](../Call_Reporting_2/ConfiguringCR.htm)
   * [Configuring Accounts](../Accounts/AcctConfig.htm)
2. Navigate to **Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets**.
3. Select the appropriate permission set.
4. Select the **Objects** tab.
5. Grant the following permissions:

   | * account\_\_v * address\_\_v * attendees\_\_v * call\_date\_\_v * call\_datetime\_\_v (optional) If [Capturing the Call Date Only](../Call_Reporting_2/Executing/PopulateHeader/DateOnly.htm) is enabled, field permission for call\_datetime\_\_v is not needed. * call\_channel\_\_v * color\_\_v * duration\_\_v * user\_\_v | Edit |

6. Select the **Tabs** tab.

7. Grant View access to the **My Schedule** tab.
8. Select the **Pages** tab.

9. Grant View access to the **My Schedule** page.
10. Navigate to **Business Admin > Objects > veeva\_settings\_\_v**.
11. Select the following Veeva Setting check boxes to enable the settings:

    * **enable\_group\_call\_attendee\_display\_\_v**
    * **enable\_calendar\_agenda\_view\_\_v**
    * **enable\_calendar\_month\_view\_\_v**
    * **enable\_list\_scheduler\_\_v**

    My Schedule's Week View always displays. If none of the other calendar view settings are enabled, those views do not display.
