## Excluding Products from Classic Cycle Plans

To ensure users focus on the most relevant products in a cycle plan, individual products can be prevented from displaying in any cycle plan view. This is useful in cases where a new product is being introduced and users are not yet trained on detailing the product, or when a product is being phased out and users should not spend time detailing it to HCPs.

### Configuring Excluding Products from Classic Cycle Plans for

To configure this feature:

1. Ensure [Configuring Classic Cycle Plans](../ClassicCyclePlanConfig.htm) is complete.
2. Navigate to **Admin > Configuration > Objects > product\_\_v > Layouts**.
3. Place the **no\_cycle\_plans\_\_v** field on the appropriate product\_\_v layouts.
4. Navigate to **Business Admin > Objects > product\_\_v**.
5. Select the **no\_cycle\_plans\_\_v** checkbox on the appropriate product\_\_v records.

### Using Excluding Products from Classic Cycle Plans as

When a product is excluded from Classic Cycle Plans, it does not display from any cycle plan entry point, regardless of the user’s My Setup products or their completed calls and product details.
