## Submitting Medical Event Expenses to SAP Concur

Medical event expenses can be automatically sent to a connected SAP Concur app, eliminating the need for manual entry in both systems, streamlining the expense reporting process, and saving time for end users.

### Configuring Medical Event Expenses with SAP Concur for

To configure this feature:

1. Ensure the following features are configured:

   * [Configuring the SAP Concur Integration](../Configuration.htm)
   * [Configuring Medical Events](../../../MedicalEvents/Configuring_Medical_Events.htm)
2. Navigate to **Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets**.
3. Select the appropriate permission set.
4. Select the **Objects** tab.
5. Grant the following permissions:

   | Object | Object Permission | Object Types | Fields | Field Permission |
   | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
   | medical\_event\_\_v | CRED | All appropriate object types | * concur\_report\_name\_\_v * expense\_amount\_\_v * expense\_post\_status\_\_v * submit\_expense\_\_v | Edit |
   | event\_attendee\_\_v | CRED | All appropriate object types | * incurred\_expense\_\_v * expense\_attendee\_type\_\_v | Edit |
6. Navigate to **Admin > Configuration > Objects > medical\_event\_\_v > Layouts** and edit the appropriate layout.
7. Add the following fields to the medical\_event\_\_v layout:

   * expense\_amount\_\_v
   * submit\_expense\_\_v
8. Add the following columns to the Event Attendees section of the medical\_event\_\_v layout:

   * incurred\_expense\_\_v
   * expense\_attendee\_type\_\_v

### Submitting a Medical Event Expense to SAP Concur as

To submit a medical event expense to SAP Concur:

1. Edit the appropriate medical\_event\_\_v record.
2. Populate the **expense\_amount\_\_v** field with the appropriate expense amount.
3. Navigate to the **Event Attendees** section.
4. Add or edit all appropriate attendees to the medical event. Ensure the **incurred\_expense\_\_v** checkbox is selected for all attendees who incurred expenses during the medical event.
5. Select the **submit\_expense\_\_v** checkbox to mark the medical event as ready to submit to SAP Concur.

6. Save the medical\_event\_\_v record.
