## Uploading Files as Meeting/Discussion Materials for Medical Interactions

During an interaction, an MSL might need to present content that is not available in their media library, for example, PowerPoints, PDFs, or other files the MSL has available to them from another source. Users can upload these files as materials used during the medical interaction. This allows for more accurate documentation of the interaction and also provides the home office with visibility into the content being used so they can determine if additional content should be created, or if existing content should be updated for wider audience distribution.

When uploaded, these files become a part of the Vault document library, and customers can configure workflows to further review these documents.

### Configuring Uploading Files as Meeting/Discussion Materials for

To configure this feature:

1. Navigate to **Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets**.
   * Select the appropriate permission set
   * Select the **Objects** tab
   * Select **medx\_meeting\_material\_\_v**
   * Grant Edit permission to the **document\_\_v** field
   * Select **Save**
2. Navigate to **Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets**.
   * Select the appropriate permission set
   * Select the **Application** tab
   * Select **Edit**
   * Grant Access to **File Staging**
   * Select **Save**
3. Navigate to **Configuration > Document Setup > Document Types**.
4. Select **Edit Details** from the Actions Menu for medx\_meeting\_material\_\_v.
5. Select the **Security** tab.
6. Select the appropriate user profile(s) for **Create Document Permissions**.
7. Select **Save**.

To upload files as meeting/discussion materials for a medical interaction:

1. Select **Create > Document** from the menu bar.
2. Select **Upload**.
3. Select **Continue**.
4. Drag and drop your document(s) into the blue area or select the upload icon to select files to upload.
5. Select **Classify documents now**.
6. Select **User Uploaded Document › Medical Interaction Meeting Material** as the document type.
7. Select **Next**.
8. Select **Save**.

If you delete a Medical Interaction or meeting materials added to a medical interaction, related, uploaded documents are also deleted.
