## Uploading Media Files for Key Messages

* Object Model

Content admin users can upload media files for key messages directly into Vault CRM. This allows content admin users to manage content manually or download media files for troubleshooting.

To configure this feature:

1. Ensure [Configuring CLM as Object Model](../../ConfiguringCLM/CLMBasicConfig.htm) is complete.
2. Navigate to **Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets**.
3. Select the permission set for the appropriate user profile.
4. Navigate to **Objects > Key Message**.
5. Grant the following permissions:

   | key\_message\_\_v | CRE | n/a | * clm\_id\_\_v * description\_\_v * media\_file\_crc\_\_v * media\_file\_name\_\_v * media\_file\_size\_\_v | Edit |
6. Navigate to **Admin > Configuration > Objects > Key Messages > Layouts**.
7. Edit the appropriate layout.
8. Select **Insert Section**.

9. Select **Media**.
10. Select **Save**.

To upload a media file directly:

1. Navigate to **Business Admin > Objects > Key Messages**.
2. Select the appropriate **key\_message\_\_v** record.

3. Select **Upload Zip File** in the Media section.
4. Select **Choose File**. The maximum file size is 50 MB.
5. Select the appropriate zip file.

When uploading an updated media file to a key message, the filename must match the name in the media\_file\_name\_\_v field.

6. Select **Upload**.

After the page refreshes, the following fields are populated on the key\_message\_\_v record:

* media\_file\_crc\_\_v
* media\_file\_name\_\_v
* media\_file\_size\_\_v
