## Managing Swipe Sensitivity for Slide Navigation

* Document Model

Swipe sensitivity is the length of the gesture needed to swipe from one slide to the next. Content admins can configure swipe sensitivity to allow users to smoothly and easily navigate through a CLM presentation.

**Who can use this feature?**

* Content Admin Users - Browser
* [Define swipe sensitivity](#Defining)
* End Users - iPad, iPhone
* [Swipe to navigate between slides](#Swiping)
* Users do not require an additional license

To configure this feature, ensure [Configuring CLM as Document Model](../DocModelConfig.htm) is complete.

### Defining Swipe Sensitivity as

[![Closed](../../../../../Skins/Default/Stylesheets/Images/transparent.gif)Content Admin Users](#)

To define the swipe sensitivity:

1. Navigate to **Business Admin > Objects > Multichannel Settings** (multichannel\_settings\_\_v).
2. Select the appropriate **Multichannel Settings** record.
3. Select **Edit**.
4. Populate the **swipe\_sensitivity\_\_v** Multichannel Setting with one of the following values:
   * 0 = standard swipe (1/3 of the screen length)
   * 1 = 1/2 of the standard swipe
   * 2 = 1/4 of the standard swipe

If any other value is entered, the standard swipe length is used. The swipe\_sensitivity\_\_v setting is disregarded if the current slide has swipe navigation disabled. See [Disabling User Actions for Slides](DisableActions.htm) for more information.

5. Select **Save**.

### Swiping to Navigate Between Slides as

[![Closed](../../../../../Skins/Default/Stylesheets/Images/transparent.gif)End Users](#)

When displaying CLM content, end users can swipe the screen to navigate between slides.

### Considerations

Content creator users should consider the swipe-gesture length when designing content containing HTML assets, for example, videos. Otherwise, a user may swipe to another slide accidentally when attempting to select an HTML asset.
