### Setting Up Consent Capture Receipts as

[![Closed](../../../../../Skins/Default/Stylesheets/Images/transparent.gif)Business Admin Users](#)

To enable sending Consent Capture receipts with Approved Email:

1. Navigate to **Business Admin > Objects > VMobile Object Configurations** (vmobile\_object\_configuration\_\_v).
2. Enable a **Full Sync VMOC** for the multichannel\_route\_\_v object for the appropriate platforms.
3. Navigate to **Business Admin > Objects > Approved Email Settings > Global Approved Email Settings**.
4. Populate the **Enable Approved Email Receipts** Approved Email setting with a value of 1.
5. Navigate to **Business Admin > Objects > Consent Headers**.
6. Select the appropriate **consent\_header\_\_v** record.
7. Set the consent\_header\_status\_\_v field to **Inactive** or **Staged** to allow edits to the record.
8. Select **Edit** on the consent\_header\_\_v record again.
9. Select the **request\_receipt\_\_v** checkbox.

   ![](../../../../Resources/Images/Multichannel/ConsentCapture/ConsentReceipts/ReqReceipt.png)
10. Set the consent\_header\_status\_\_v field to **Active** or **Staged**:

    * Active — displays consent channels and lines on the Consent Capture screen and prevents further editing
    * Staged — hides the consent records from end users while allowing consent admins to review how the Consent Capture screen displays
11. Select **Save**.

Business admins should create a multichannel\_route\_\_v record with the email\_receipt\_\_v object type to define the receipt template for each consent\_header\_\_v record. Enter the following information:

* country\_\_v — country\_\_v on the appropriate consent\_header\_\_v record
* language\_\_v — language\_\_v on the appropriate consent\_header\_\_v record
* object\_\_v — multichannel\_consent\_\_v
* email\_template\_document\_\_v\_\_vr.status\_\_v — approved\_\_v or staged\_\_v

Leave the record\_type\_name\_\_v field empty.

![](../../../../Resources/Images/Multichannel/ConsentCapture/ConsentReceipts/MCRoute.png)

Additionally, select the default\_\_v checkbox to use this multichannel\_route\_\_v record as the default, when a consent\_header\_\_v record does not have a multichannel\_route\_\_v record with a matching language\_\_v field.

#### Using the Appropriate Multichannel Route Record

If there are multiple multichannel\_route\_\_v records with the email\_receipt\_\_v object type for the same country, the following logic determines which record is used:

* The multichannel\_route\_\_v record matching the consent header’s language
* If one does not exist, the record matching the account’s language is used
* If one does not exist, the record matching the user’s language is used
* If one does not exist, the default record is used

Business admins can enable custom sharing rules for the country\_\_v field on the multichannel\_route\_\_v object for Vaults with end users in different countries using the same language. This allows users to sync only the records for their respective countries and prevents the selection of a record with the matching language but the incorrect country.

### Requesting Consent Capture Receipts as

[![Closed](../../../../../Skins/Default/Stylesheets/Images/transparent.gif)HCPs](#)

After granting consent and continuing to the consent review screen, HCPs can:

1. Select the preferred email address for the account from the drop-down list. If none of the listed email addresses are appropriate, select **Manage Email Addresses** from the list to add an email address.

   ![](../../../../Resources/Images/Multichannel/ConsentCapture/ConsentReceipts/ManageReceiptEmail.png)
2. Select **Continue**.
3. Sign and confirm the consent changes. A sent\_email\_\_v record is created with the following properties:

   * type — email\_receipt\_\_v
   * account\_\_v — Account in focus
   * account\_email\_\_v — multichannel\_consent\_\_v.receipt\_email\_\_v
   * sender\_email\_\_v — email\_from\_address\_\_v on Email Template Document
   * product\_\_v — Not populated; field is left empty
   * receipt\_entity\_type\_\_v — multichannel\_consent\_\_v
   * sent\_email\_status\_\_v — saved\_\_v
   * email\_config\_values\_\_v — standard processing
