## Using the Engage Splash Screen

Content creators can use a provided template to create a [splash screen](HostMeetingiPad.htm#Displayi) that displays for attendees when the meeting host is not sharing their screen during an Engage meeting. Alternatively, content creators can create a custom splash screen.

### Configuring the Engage Splash Screen for

To configure this feature:

1. Navigate to **Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets**.
2. Select the appropriate permission set.
3. Select the **Objects** tab.
4. Grant the following permissions:

   | Object | Object Permission | Object Types | Fields | Field Permission |
   | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
   | html\_report\_\_v | CRED | remote\_meeting\_\_v | * name\_\_v * object\_type\_\_v * platform\_\_v | Edit |
   | vmobile\_object\_configuration\_\_v | CRE | n/a | include\_attachments\_\_v | Read |
5. Grant Execute permission to the **Publish** action on the html\_report\_\_v object.
6. Create a tab for the **html\_report\_\_v** object.
7. Grant content creators access to the tab you just created.
8. Navigate to **Admin > Configuration > Objects > html\_report\_\_v**.
9. Select the **Layouts** tab.
10. Create a layout for the **remote\_meeting\_\_v** object type.
11. Ensure the **name\_\_v**, **object\_type\_\_v**, and **platform\_\_v** fields are on each layout.
12. Navigate to **Business Admin > VMobile Object Configurations**.
13. Enable the **locale\_\_sys** object VMOC for the appropriate mobile devices.

To configure this feature:

1. Ensure [Configuring Engage Meeting](../ConfiguringEngage/ConfigureEngageMeeting.htm) is complete.
2. Navigate to **Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets**.
3. Select the appropriate permission set.
4. Select the **Objects** tab.
5. Grant the following permissions:

   | Object | Object Permission | Object Types | Fields | Field Permission |

   | html\_report\_\_v | R | remote\_meeting\_\_v | * name\_\_v * object\_type\_\_v * platform\_\_v | Edit |
   | vmobile\_object\_configuration\_\_v | R | n/a | include\_attachments\_\_v | Read |
6. Ensure users have **Read** permission to all objects and fields referenced in the HTML report created.

### Creating the Engage Splash Screen as

1. Download the [Engage Splash Screen content zip file](../../../../Resources/Remote_Meeting_Splash_Screen_VCRM.zip) or create a custom zip file.
2. Navigate to the **Business Admin** tab.
3. Select **HTML Reports**.
4. Select **Create**.
5. Select **Remote Meeting** for HTML Report Type.
6. Select **Continue**.
7. Populate the **Report Name** field.
8. Select **Save**.
9. Select **Upload** in the Attachments section.
10. Select the appropriate zip file.

    Each record should only have one zip file attached. Attachments must be zip files and must contain the index.html file directly in the zip. The attachment limit is 32 MB. Delete previous files if more room is required.
11. Select **Publish** from the All Actions menu to make the content available in Vault.
