## Direct Quantity Order Entry Mode

Direct Quantity Order Entry Mode allows users to use the product selector to find products to add to an order by filtering and searching. Direct Quantity Order Entry Mode can help reduce the time it takes for a user to find a specific product to add to the order.

### Configuring Direct Quantity Order Entry Mode for

To configure this feature:

1. Ensure [Configuring Order Management](../../OM_Config.htm) is complete.
2. Set the **order\_touch\_entry\_mode\_\_v** Veeva Setting to 2.

### Using Direct Quantity Order Entry Mode as

To use Direct Quantity Order Entry Mode:

1. Create an order.
2. Select the **Order Lines** tab. The Product Selector displays all products available to add to the order.
3. Select a product.
4. Add quantity, free goods, or a value in a custom order line field.
5. Select **Enter**, **Add & Close**, **Previous Product**, or **Next Product** to add the order line to the order.
