## Case Calculator and Fixed Units of Measure

The Case Calculator allows users to quickly add order products that are sold and shipped in pre-defined multiples, called cases. When a product is configured with a quantity per case, users can enter the number of cases, and optionally, individual units. The Case Calculator automatically calculates the total quantity of the order line.

If the Fixed Units of Measure is enabled is selected on a product catalog record, the product can only be ordered in the defined multiples and individual units cannot be added on.

For example, an end user places an order for Cholecap 10mg, which can be sold in cases of 20. They use the Case Calculator to add 2 cases and 10 units of Cholecap 10mg to the order, which automatically calculates a quantity of 50 for the order line.

The Case Calculator does not support Bundle Packs or Kit Items.
