## List Price Rules

List Price pricing rules define the list price for products that can be ordered. Every product must have a valid list price rule before it can be added to an order.

* Users do not require an additional license

To configure this feature, ensure [Configuring Order Management](../OM_Config.htm) is complete.

### Creating List Price Rules as

To create a List Price rule:

1. Navigate to **Home > Pricing Rules** tab.
2. Select **Create**.
3. Select **List Price Rule** in the object type selector.
4. Select **Continue**.
5. Complete the following fields:
   * name\_\_v
   * start\_date\_\_v
   * end\_date\_\_v
   * list\_price\_\_v
   * local\_currency\_\_sys
   * product\_\_v
   * active\_\_v
   * order\_campaign\_\_v and contract\_\_v; or order\_campaign\_\_v, contract\_\_v, account\_\_v, price\_book\_\_v, or account\_group\_\_v (optional)
6. Select **Save**.

When an end user adds a product to an order, the list price displayed is set based on the List Price pricing rules. The list price cannot be edited by users.

End users can apply line level discounts, order level discounts, brand level discounts, and product group level discounts to the order line to achieve a discounted, final net price.
