## Creating X-Pages in Patient CRM

X-Pages in Patient CRM allows organizations to surface external patient, patient journey, or clinical data directly within the Patient Center Case console view. By integrating custom data visualizations, Patient Center users can view parallel data alongside case records, reducing context switching and streamlining patient support.

### Configuring X-Pages in Patient CRM for

To configure this feature:

1. Ensure the following are complete:
   * [Configuring Patient CRM](../Config/ConfiguringPatientCRM.htm)
   * [Configuring X-Pages](../../X_Pages/X_PagesConfig.htm)
   * [Configuring X-Pages Studio](../../X_Pages/X_PagesStudio/StudioConfigure.htm)
2. Navigate to **Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets**.
3. Select the appropriate permission set.
4. Select **Objects > html\_report\_\_v**.
5. Grant the following permissions:

6. Navigate to the Object Action Permissions section.
7. Ensure the Execute permission is granted to the Publish object action for the appropriate object type(s).
8. Navigate to **Admin > Configuration > Objects > html\_report\_\_v > Object Types** tab > **Actions**.
9. Ensure the **Publish** permission is enabled for the appropriate object type actions.

### Creating Patient CRM X-Pages as

Content creators use X-Pages Studio to create, edit, and publish X-Pages for Patient Center. X-Pages display as their own tabs in the Case view.

To create a Patient CRM X-Page in X-Pages Studio:

1. Sign into **X-Pages Studio**.
2. Select **New Page** from the X-Pages Studio home page to open the New Page modal:
   * **Page Name** - Enter the page name as it should display to users

     When creating Patient Center Case Tab type X-Pages, use concise titles as the Case Tab only displays the first 20 characters.
   * **Description** - Optional context to help identify the page
   * **Page Type** - Select the appropriate entry point, or where the page will display:
     + Patient Center Overview
     + Patient Center Case Tab
   * **Team** - Select the appropriate team
   * **Test User** - Select a test user to preview content. The test user’s permissions are used for the data palette and layout.
   * **Test Record** - Select the case or account record to use when previewing data
3. Select **Create**.
4. Use the **Data** tab to specify the information displayed on the page. See [Adding Data to X-Pages in X-Pages Studio](../../X_Pages/X_PagesStudio/AddData.htm) for more information.
5. Navigate to the **Layout** tab to customize and arrange the visual layout of the data elements. See [Defining X-Page Layouts](../../X_Pages/X_PagesStudio/DefineLayout.htm) for more information.
6. Navigate to the **Preview** tab to confirm the X-Page’s data and layout.
7. Navigate to the **Deploy** tab to publish the X-Page to the appropriate connected Vaults. See [Deploying Pages to Vault CRM in X-Pages Studio](../../X_Pages/X_PagesStudio/DeployPage.htm) for more information.

### Viewing X-Pages in the Case View as

End users can view X-Pages in Patient Center’s Case view, when available. Case tab X-Pages are displayed after the Case Details tab.
