## Integrating Veeva Link with an X-Pages Account Page

Vault CRM customers who subscribe to [Veeva Link](https://www.veeva.com/products/oncology-data/) can provide their users with a quick and easy way to open Veeva Link profiles from account detail pages using an X-Pages Account page. Veeva Link enables users to uncover new opportunities and orchestrate meaningful interactions between Veeva’s customers and their accounts by compiling profiles of experts and activities into a single view across teams and geographies.

For example, a user can view more detailed account data by selecting the Veeva Link URL on a KOL Account Detail page. This opens an X-Page displaying additional information such as publication details and clinical trial participation information.

### Configuring Veeva Link Integration for Accounts for

To configure this feature:

1. Ensure [Configuring Accounts](../../Accounts/AcctConfig.htm) is complete.
2. Ensure [Configuring X-Pages](../X_PagesConfig.htm) is complete.
3. Grant the following permissions for each permission set that requires access:

   | Object | Object Permissions | Object Types | Fields | Field Permissions |
   | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
   | account\_\_v | CRED | account\_\_v | * vl\_link\_\_v * vl\_url\_\_v | Edit |

To use this feature:

1. Place the **vl\_link\_\_v** field on the appropriate account\_\_v object type page layouts.
2. Ensure 'salesforce' is the value in the **target\_platform\_\_v** field on the html\_report\_\_v object.

To access a Veeva Link profile from an account page, select the View Profile link displayed in the vl\_link\_\_v field. The account’s Veeva Link page opens with the KOL profile displayed.
