## Setting the Default X-Pages Account Profile

By default, when a user navigates to an account in Vault CRM, the [account detail](../../Accounts/UsingAccounts/UsingAcctDetails.htm#DefaultView) screen displays information about the account’s calls, territories, multichannel activities, and more. However, this information may not be the most relevant for all end users.

To allow users to view customized account information immediately after navigating to an account, developers can create custom X-Pages content to display information tailored to end users, for example, a combined view of an account’s calls, medical inquiries, and sent emails. Admins can then set the X-Pages content as the default account profile page, so when a user navigates to an account, the X-Pages content displays instead of the account detail page.

To configure this feature, ensure [Configuring X-Pages](../X_PagesConfig.htm) is complete.

### Setting the Default Account Profile as

To display X-Pages content for an account:

There can only be one default account profile per account type.

1. Navigate to the **account\_\_v**
2. layout for the appropriate object type.
3. Select **Add Section**.
4. Select **X-Pages**.
5. Select **Done**. By default, the new section displays at the bottom of the page. Drag and drop to reorder the sections.
6. Select **Save**.

To set the default account profile for end users:

1. Create an html\_report\_\_v record with the **account\_profile\_override\_\_v** object type.
2. Upload the content zip file as an attachment.
3. Publish the HTML report.

### Viewing the Default Account Profile as

To view a default account profile for an account, navigate to the account.

If the [account timeline view](../../Timeline/Using/DefaultAccountView.htm) is configured as the default, the timeline view takes priority over the X-Pages account profile. Users can still select the X-Pages account profile tab in the Sunrise bar to view the content.

To view a default account profile for an account, navigate to the account and scroll to the X-Pages section.
