X-Pages Studio page templates can only be deployed to your sandbox Vault. Best practice involves using only X-Pages Studio page templates as your content starting point.

Content creators can deploy a page when it is ready or to use in Vault CRM. X-Pages Studio uses the established connection to create records in the connected Vault.

Before deploying [Compass Integration](CompassIntegration/View_Compass_Data.htm) pages or templates after a sandbox refresh has been performed, you should rerun all table queries to refresh the table data.

To deploy a page:

1. Ensure [Configuring X-Pages](../X_PagesConfig.htm) is complete.
2. Ensure [Configuring X-Pages Studio](StudioConfigure.htm) is complete.
3. Log into **X-Pages Studio** as an integration user.
4. Select the page you want to deploy.
5. Select the **Deploy** tab.
6. Select **New** for the appropriate connection.

7. Select **Deploy**.

#### Optional Configuration

1. Edit the **Report Name**.
2. Select the **Object Type**. Only available for applicable page types. Determines which HTML Report object type the page is deployed as (default or normal) and how it displays:

* Account
* Account Plan Default
* Speaker
* Territory

3. Select the **Context Object Type**. Only available for applicable page types. Determines which records the entry point displays for. For example, an Account page only displays Professional accounts with an HCP object type:

* Account
* Account Plan
* Call
* Inventory Monitoring
* Order
* Patient Center
* Service Center
* Speaker

4. Select the **Visibility Criteria**. Only available for applicable page types. Only works with Yes/No fields:

* Account
* Speaker

5. Enter the **Sharing Group**. Drives customer-specific sharing rules.
6. Select the **Deploy to All Application Profiles** checkbox. If more than one application profile is used, a separate html\_report\_\_v record is generated for each application profile.

3. Select the **Deploy** tab.
4. Select **Edit** from the All Actions menu of the deployment you want to edit.
