Configuring Selecting a Territory for

To configure this feature, ensure Configuring Call Reporting and Configuring Territory Management are complete.
Using Selecting a Territory as

By default, the territory for the call is set to the first territory in the user’s assigned territories. To change the territory, select the appropriate territory from the territory__v picklist on the call report.
The territory__v field picklist displays territories defined both as territories of the primary account of the call and as one of a user’s assigned territories. Users' assigned territories include territories one level down in the territory hierarchy. If values do not exist for this intersection, a list of the user’s territories display.
Do not remove Read access to the territory__v object and parent_territory__v field on the territory__v object. By default, users are granted Read permission to the territory__v object and all fields on the object. To select a territory on the call report, users must have at least Read access to the territory__v object and parent_territory__v field.
Considerations
Consider the following when using the territory picklist:
- The territory field cannot be edited after a call is saved
- For iPad users, None is not an available option
- Use of the territory picklist overrides the default territory assignment for the call
