The account_territory__v Object

The account_territory__v object serves as a link between an account__v record and the territory__v record it is assigned to.

Do not create custom fields on this object.

The geography_territory__v Object

The geography_territory__v object specifies which geographical areas are associated with territories. This information can be used in Territory Assignment Rules to automatically assign accounts to territories based on their addresses' postal or brick codes.

• Postal code – A government-defined geographical area
• Brick – A code referring to a geographical area as defined by a data provider

The territory__v Object

The territory__v object defines territories and their structure within the hierarchy. Territories are used to group accounts, geographies, and users together.

The user_territory__v Object

The user_territory__v object serves as a link between a user__sys record and the territory__v record it's assigned to.

Territory Settings

Territory Settings manage and control configuration. This table describes these settings and their functionality:

atl_mode__v	Indicates the ATL processing mode: 0 or empty – Enables Classic ATL Processing. This is the default value. 1 – Enables Incremental ATL Processing	Number
external_id__v	Stores the external ID used for metadata migration. This setting is customer managed and does not have set parameters.	Text

To configure Territory Management for Territory Managers:

1. Grant the following permissions:

3. Grant users access to the following tabs:

   • Territories
   • Account Territories
   • Geography Territories
   • User Territories

To configure Territory Management for end users, grant the following permissions:
