Contracts Overview
Contracts allow users to capture an agreement with an account or for multiple accounts to influence ordering and promotional behavior, or to dictate where to display products. For example, a contract can be an agreement between a pharmaceutical company and a pharmacy. Contracts can also be used to compare actual orders and promotions against what was previously agreed to.
Contracts can be used with Order Management and Inventory Monitoring, or they can be configured using custom object types allowing users to capture signatures in ways that are not specific to orders. This allows users to present customers with contracts without including contract lines.
Contracts are created and managed online. Users can capture signatures and activate contracts for accounts using mobile devices.
