Reconciling Walk-in Attendees via OpenData
Veeva OpenData provides a reliable and comprehensive global database of health care professionals (HCPs). When reconciling walk-in attendees in Events Management, users can search OpenData through their integrated Network instance to efficiently reconcile and match attendees with existing HCP records. This streamlines the matching process by leveraging a broader dataset than what is available in Vault CRM.

Reconciling Walk-in Attendees to OpenData Records as
When end users search for matches for their walk-in attendees, results from OpenData via Network display in the modal alongside results from Vault CRM. This enables the user to select the Confirm Match button on the appropriate account. Results are filtered to show only OpenData records where the record's country matches the country of the logged-in user.
When matching a walk-in attendee to an OpenData record from Network, the walk_in_status__v picklist on the attendee record updates to reconciled_to_customer_master__v and the attendee’s network_id__v field stamps with the Network record’s Network VID. This indicates that the attendee was reconciled to a Network record and provides the appropriate information to find the account in Network.
When a record from Network is matched to a walk-in attendee, the em_attendee__v record is updated, however, the associated account in Network is not imported into Vault CRM.
