List of Engage Connect Group Settings

The following list describes all available Engage Connect group settings. These settings can either be set at the group level, as a Vault-wide default, or as a Vault-wide default that can be overridden by a group.

When end users are part of a group, the group settings apply, including settings that are blank. The Vault-wide default settings only apply to users who are not in a group.

Primary Color

A hex value that determines the color of certain elements of the application for branding purposes.

Do not include the # character in the hex value.

Secondary Color

A hex value that determines the secondary color of certain elements of the application for branding purposes.

Do not include the # character in the hex value.

Profile Company Name

The company name that displays when HCPs view connections with end users in the group.

Communication Channel

Determines how end users and HCPs can communicate with one another. Available values are:

  • Off – Communication between end users and HCPs is not permitted. This option is only available for Vault-wide settings, not Engage Connect groups. This is the default Vault-wide selection.
  • Ping – HCPs can send a message to the connected end user that is delivered as an Engage Connect email and is viewable from the Engage tab in CRM on iPad or iPhone. This is the default selection for an Engage Connect group.
  • Chat – HCPs can communicate with end users via chat

Display Future Meetings

Displays future meetings with other end users. Available values are:

  • Invited – Displays all upcoming Engage Meetings that have a corresponding Approved Email that was sent to the HCP. See Sending Engage Meeting Invitations via Approved Email for more information. This is the default selection.
  • Invited or Ad hoc Meeting – Displays the same Engage Meetings as the Invited option, as well as any meetings created within one hour prior to the scheduled time
  • All – Displays all upcoming Engage Meetings corresponding with this HCP, regardless of whether an Approved Email was sent

Group Name

The name of the Engage Connect group.

Brands

A multi-select picklist of brands available to the group. The order of the brands in the picklist determines the order of the brands on the user’s profile.

Content Filters

A semicolon delimited list of filters to determine which samples are available in chat. If any filter matches the filters defined in the company configuration file for specific samples, HCPs can request the sample. This column is optional.
