Case Calculator and Fixed Units of Measure
The Case Calculator allows users to quickly add order products that are sold and shipped in pre-defined multiples. If the Fixed Units of Measure check box is selected on a product catalog record, the product can only be ordered in the defined multiples and individual units cannot be added on.
For example, an end user places an order for Cholecap 10mg, which can only be sold in multiples of 5. They use the case calculator to add 10 cases of Cholecap 10mg to the order, which automatically calculates a quantity of 50 for the order line.
