Free Goods Percentage Pricing Rules
Free Goods Percentage pricing rules define quantities of free goods included with an order. Free Goods are defined as a percentage of the ordered product quantity.
Free Goods Percentage pricing rules can be combined with line level discounts, order level discounts, brand level discounts, and product group level discounts. Free Goods Percentage pricing rules cannot be combined with Free Goods pricing rules.

Creating Free Goods Percentage Pricing Rules as

To create a Free Goods Percentage pricing rule:
- Navigate to Home > Pricing Rules tab.
- Select Create.
- Select Free Goods Percentage Rule in the Object Type Selector.
- Select Continue.
- Complete the following fields:
- name__v
- product__v (product_type__v must be order__v or kit_item__v)
- start_date__v
- end_date__v
- comparison_type__v
- minimum_quantity__v
- maximum_quantity__v (optional)
- free_goods_percentage__v
- free_goods_percentage_max__v (optional)
- Select Save.
Using Free Goods Percentage Pricing Rules as

When products are added to an order, Free Goods Percentage pricing rules can set the free_goods__v field. The free_goods__v field is set to quantity__v multiplied by free_goods_percentage__v.
For example, if free_goods_percentage__v is 20% and quantity__v = 1,000, the free_goods__v field would be set to 200.
If the free_goods__v field is on the layout for order_line__v, the user can manually override the free goods determined by the pricing rules. The free_goods_percentage__v cannot exceed free_goods_percentage_max__v.
Comparison Type
- If Free Goods Percentage Rule comparison_type__v equals the product_quantity__v, quantity__v of the product is considered to determine if the free goods applies
