List Price Rules
List Price pricing rules define the list price for products that can be ordered. Every product must have a valid list price rule before it can be added to an order.

Configuring List Price Rules for
All Users
To configure this feature, ensure Configuring Order Management is complete.
Creating List Price Rules as
Order Admins
To create a List Price rule:
- Navigate to Home > Pricing Rules tab.
- Select Create.
- Select List Price Rule in the object type selector.
- Select Continue.
- Complete the following fields:
- name__v
- start_date__v
- end_date__v
- list_price__v
- local_currency__sys
- product__v
- active__v
- order_campaign__v and contract__v; or order_campaign__v, contract__v, account__v, price_book__v, or account_group__v (optional)
- Select Save.
Using List Price Rules as
End Users
When an end user adds a product to an order, the list price displayed is set based on the List Price pricing rules. The list price cannot be edited by users.
End users can apply line level discounts, order level discounts, brand level discounts, and product group level discounts to the order line to achieve a discounted, final net price.
