To configure this feature, ensure Configuring X-Pages is complete.

1. Ensure Configuring X-Pages is complete.
2. Navigate to Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets.
3. Select the appropriate permission set.
4. Select the Objects tab.
5. Grant end users the appropriate object and field permissions for a specific feature to perform those tasks from an X-Page. For example, to create a medical inquiry for an HCP from an X-Page, end users need all the necessary Medical Inquiry permissions to create and view a medical inquiry.

Deep Linking is not supported for the Call, Inventory Monitoring, Order Management, Territory Feedback, and Prompt Overlay entry points.

Content Developers can enable the following actions for end users with X-Pages Deep Linking:

• Launch the CLM Media Library - The launchMediaForAccount() method launches the CLM media library from an X-Page for a specific HCP or a specific CLM presentation. Linked content is accessible on the Browser and Windows platforms.
• Use Suggestion Actions - The executeSuggestionAction() method enables Suggestion actions from an X-Page, for example, Dismiss or Mark as Complete
• Create or View Records - The newRecord() or viewRecord() methods enables the following capabilities from an X-Pages section or page:

Browser supports editRecord() which navigate users to the object's standard edit page if they have the appropriate Edit permissions. Browser also supports the viewRecord() which enables users to navigate to detail pages for all Vault CRM objects they have View permissions for.

• Account Plan - View an account plan
• Account Tactics - View account tactics
• Account Action Items - View action items
• Approved Email -
• Create an Email - end users can specify the template, recipient, and fragment
• View Sent Emails - end users can optionally navigate to the record detail

  End users need access to the myinsights__v object type on the sent_email__v object to perform Approved Email tasks from X-Pages.

• Call Reporting - Create or view a call report
• Case - View case information

  Content developers can use either the case name or case ID to navigate to a case record. The case name is preferred.

• Custom objects - View information for any custom object

• Medical Inquiry - Create or view a medical inquiry

• Edit Records - The editRecord() method allows users to navigate to the standard edit page for objects they have Edit permissions for. Users without the required Edit permissions are navigated to the object’s standard view-only page.

editRecord() is supported on Browser and iPad.

• View Additional Information - The viewSection() method can display contextual relevant information from a different X-Page section, or entire pages for Account-level and Territory-level content.

End users can access Vault CRM features directly from an X-Page or section based on the information presented by selecting the provided link.
