New Account Wizard
The New Account Wizard allows users to create an account, a corresponding address, a territory field record, and assign the newly created account to a territory in a single screen when creating a record in My Accounts. All fields required to create an account display in the New Account Wizard page for the user to populate.

- Users do not require an additional license

Configuring the New Account Wizard for

To configure this feature:
- Ensure Configuring Accounts is complete.
- Select the NEW_ACCOUNT_WIZARD check box on the Global Veeva Settings object to enable the wizard.
To allow iPad users to assign the newly created account to a territory:
- Grant Create permission to the account_territory_loader__v object.
- Enable the iPad VMOC for account_territory_loader__v.
- Enter any text in the CRM_Managed_Account_Types Veeva Message if the user has Create permissions on the account__v object, which is needed when using CRM Managed Account Types. (Optional)
Customizing Field and Field Display Order
Fields can be added to the New Account Wizard by including the field as required on the corresponding Account layout. The fields in the NAW display in the following order:

Object type

Name fields (for example, first_name_cda__v and last_name_cda__v)

Any fields marked Required on the Account layout that are not on the ignore list, in the order they are placed on the layout.
The ignore list includes the following fields:

The ignore list cannot be modified.
The following fields display as part of step 3 above, even if they are not marked as required:

Using the New Account Wizard as

Object reference fields are not supported in the New Account Wizard. Vault pages on account layouts are also not supported in the New Account Wizard.
When the New Account Wizard is enabled, it replaces the manual account creation process from all entry points.
To create a new account with the New Account Wizard:
- Select Account from the dropdown on the Create button.
- Select an account type.

Enter the account information in the Enter Account Information screen.
- Select Save.
To enable users to quickly capture State License information, admins can configure state license fields to display in account wizards.
