The Territory Field section only displays in View mode.
The system attempts to find a match between all territories assigned to the user and one of the territories to which both the Parent and Child Accounts (territory__v field on the tsf__v object) are aligned. The information displays as follows:
-
If a match is found, the section displays one childaccount_tsf__v record where the child_account__v field on the childaccount_tsf__v object matches the current Child Account. The layout of the section is determined by the childaccount_tsf__v layout.
-
If more than one match is found, the first territory record displays based on alphabetical sorting of the name__v field on the territory__v object
-
If no match is found, the section displays a virtual representation of a non-existent childaccount_tsf__v for the user's first assigned territory
-
If the user is not aligned to any territories, the section displays No results found
