To configure this feature:

1. Ensure Configuring Align is complete.
2. Navigate to Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets.
3. Select the appropriate permission set.
4. Select the Objects tab.

5. Grant the following permissions:

   Object	Object Permission	Object Types	Fields	Field Permission
   aln_product_specialty__v	CRED	product_specialty__v	eligibility_reason__v external_id__v product__v promotion_eligibility__v requested_promotion_eligibility__v specialty__v	Edit

6. Navigate to the Tabs tab.
7. Grant access to the aln_product_specialty__v tab.
8. Navigate to the Application tab.

9. Select the following check boxes in the Workflows section:

   • Start
   • Participate
10. Navigate to Admin > Users & Groups > Vault Users.

11. Assign the following application roles to the appropriate users:

    • aln_brand_manager__v
    • aln_medical_reviewer__v
    • aln_legal_reviewer__v

Align operations users can create product specialty records when there is a new product or specialty to add:

1. Navigate to the Product Specialties tab.
2. Select Create.

3. Populate the following fields:

   • product__v – The associated product
   • specialty__v – The associated specialty
   • requested_promotion_eligibility__v – Select the appropriate promotional eligibility to request. Available options are:
   • promotion_allowed__v
   • promotion_prohibited__v
   • educational_only__v
   • eligibility_reason__v – Select the appropriate eligibility reason
4. Select Save.

This process can also be done via the Vault Loader.

Additionally, the lifecycle of the aln_product_specialty__v object supports customizable workflows that enable the newly requested product specialty to be routed to legal and medical teams for approval.
