Capturing the Call Date Only
By default, the call datetime field records the call date and time, enabling full use of My Schedule. However, local regulations may prohibit capturing the time of a call. To comply with specific regulations and reporting requirements, the call report can be configured to capture a call date only, instead of a call datetime.

Configuring Call Date Only for

To configure this feature:
- Ensure Configuring Call Reporting is complete.
- Grant edit permission to the call_date__v field on the call2__v object.
- Remove edit permission to the call_datetime__v field on the call2__v object.
- Add the call_date__v field to the appropriate call2__v object layouts.
- Remove the call_datetime__v field from the appropriate call2__v object layouts.
Using Call Date Only as

Users select a call date from the call_date__v field on the call report, instead of using the call_datetime__v field. Only the call date is captured.
If only the call date is captured, the Time field does not display on the call in My Schedule.
