Displaying Approved Email Activity on the Timeline
The Timeline View displays sent emails sent to an account as well as any email activities associated with that sent email. This enables end users to know which Approved Email content was recently sent to an account.

Configuring the Display of Approved Email Activity on the Timeline for

To configure this feature:
- Ensure the following are complete:
- Verify the Timeline Emails section is added to the appropriate account_overview_layout__v layouts.
- Prevent specific users from seeing sent emails on the timeline (optional).
Certain users may be prohibited from viewing the activity of email recipients. To allow these users to remain compliant, admins can restrict permission and visibility to email activity:
- Remove Read access to the email_activity__v object
- Deactivate the VMOC for the email_activity__v object
The Timeline View still displays all sent emails, but email activities associated with those sent emails do not display.
Using the Display of Approved Email Activity on the Timeline as

To view email activity, end users can navigate to the account timeline for an account. Email activity associated with that account displays on the timeline.
Selecting an activity expands and displays more details around the sent email. The View Email link displays a preview of the email sent to the HCP.
Users can view additional details about the email activity via the View More link, which navigates the user to the corresponding Sent Email detail record.
