Consent Capture Overview

Consent Capture is a user-directed solution for capturing required HCP consent to receive communication through various channels and to store personal information. Customers need this consent to satisfy compliance regulations.

The Consent Capture process includes the following tasks:

  • Creating and Managing Consent — Admins define the regions, channels, and requirements for capturing consent and control how the Consent Capture screen displays
  • Capturing Consent — End users prepare devices to capture HCP consent by selecting the preferred language and ensuring channel source values are accurate
  • Granting Consent — HCPs grant and confirm consent

Customers have flexible options for managing Consent Capture in Vault CRM to simplify administration and allow centralized reporting on usage:

  • Consent Capture as Document Model - For use with other modules that leverage the built-in content capabilities of the Vault Platform for managing content within Vault CRM using Documents, including content creation, approval, publishing, and sharing
  • Consent Capture as Object Model - For use with other modules that manage content creation and approval in PromoMats/MedComms and sync the content to Vault CRM as object records

Customers can enable both models in the same Vault CRM instance, but end users can only be aligned to content via one of the content management method.

Not all features are available on all platforms. For a list of available platforms for each feature, see Platform Functionality.
