Managing Display Names for CLM Presentations and ISI and PI Documents
Content creators can define display names in PromoMats/MedComms for each presentation and their associated ISI and PI documents, which display in web link previews and in the HCP Content Player. This ensures the appropriate names display to HCPs when viewing content from a web link.

Configuring Presentation Display Names for
CLM Integration Users in CRM
To configure this feature:
- Navigate to Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets.
- Select the appropriate permission set.
- Navigate to Objects > CLM Presentation in the permission set.
- Grant Edit field permission to the external_display_name__v on the clm_presentation__v and reference_document__v objects.
- Navigate to CRM Setup > Content Setup > CLM.
- Select View Map for the appropriate PromoMats/MedComms connection in the Vault Connection Management Section.
- Select Compare CRM to Vault to ensure the external_display_name__v field in Vault CRM is correctly mapped to the crm_external_display_name__v field in PromoMats/MedComms.
Integration Users in PromoMats/MedComms
To configure this feature:
- Navigate to Admin > Configuration > Document Fields.
- Select the appropriate document type for CLM presentations (auto-published presentations and Binders) or ISI and PI documents.
- Select Add > Existing Shared Field.
- Select CRM External Display Name (crm_external_display_name__v).
- Select OK.

Content Creator Users in PromoMats/MedComms
When creating or editing a CLM presentation or an ISI or PI document in PromoMats/MedComms, populate the crm_external_display_name__v field with the appropriate display name. This field is mapped to the external_display_name__v field on the appropriate clm_presentation__v or reference_document__v record in CRM as part of the CLM integration.

End Users
When end users share a web link, the link preview is generated with the defined presentation display name.
HCPs
When HCPs access the presentation web link and view the content in the HCP Content Player, the presentation display name displays at the top of the browser window and links for the ISI and PI documents display in the bottom left corner (desktop) or the top right corner (mobile) of the window.
When HCPs access the ISI or PI link in the HCP Content Player, the document displays in a new tab and the display name displays at the top of the browser window.
