Adding Survey Targets for One-Time or Recurring Surveys
Survey targets are the accounts selected for completion of a One-Time or Recurring survey. End users execute surveys on behalf of these target accounts. When survey designers add survey targets, users can see that a survey is pending for the account when they view the Survey Targets tab or an Account related list. Selecting a record displays the Survey Target Execution page, where the user can complete the survey for the target.
For the Approved Email and CLM channels, it is possible for the survey target, for example an HCP receiving a survey link via email, to execute the survey themselves.

To configure this feature, ensure Configuring Surveys is complete.
Adding Survey Targets as

To add survey targets while creating a survey:

Select the New Survey Target button in the Survey Targets section on a survey. The Add Survey Target dialog displays, where survey designers can search for accounts and filter by My Account views.

Select one or more accounts by using the checkboxes. Accounts object types available for selection are determined by the Accounts Type field on the survey.

Select Add Selected to add the accounts as survey targets to the survey.
The ownership of the survey targets is temporarily assigned to the survey designer. Once the survey is published, ownership of the survey targets are assigned based on assignment rules.
