Surveys Overview
Surveys are groups of questions that organizations can use to collect valuable business data. Vault CRM includes various types of surveys to help organizations with market research, sales planning, and more.
Survey types include the following:
- One Time - gathers information from accounts, can only be taken once per account. For more information, see Creating a One-Time or Recurring Survey.
- Recurring - gathers information from accounts, can be taken multiple times per account. For more information, see Creating a One-Time or Recurring Survey.
- Coaching Report - communicates performance information from managers to employees. For more information, see Advanced Coaching Report.
- Suggestion - gathers feedback from users to increase the effectiveness of CRM Suggestions. For more information, see Suggestion Surveys.
- Internal User - feedback and analysis from internal users (employees). For more information, see Creating Surveys for Internal Use.
Not all features are available on all platforms. For a list of available platforms for each feature, see Platform Functionality.

The Surveys module has several types of users, each with unique roles and responsibilities:
- System Admin user - enables surveys for all other users
- Survey Designer- creates and publishes surveys
- End user - completes surveys against target accounts in CRM
- HCP - completes surveys through Approved Email or CLM
The Surveys module is designed specifically for survey designers to create surveys, add questions, define weights and segments, define target lists, and publish surveys, all without assistance from the IT Department.
The Surveys module is also used to support other features, for example, Advanced Coaching Reports and Suggestion Surveys.
