Searching for Out-Of-Territory Accounts Before Creating an Account
Admins can require users to perform a search for out-of-territory accounts prior to creating a new account. This reduces the chance that users accidentally create duplicate accounts.
When users attempt to create a new account, the account search page displays prompting the user to search for the account outside of their territory before creating a new account. If the account exists, the user adds it to their territory.
This feature overrides any other redirection behavior surrounding the New Account action, for example, the New Account Wizard and the New Account DCR Process.
