Displaying Medical Events in My Schedule
To avoid scheduling conflicts, users can view Medical Events in My Schedule if they are the event owner or an attendee.
Who can use this feature?
- Browser, iPad Users (iPhone coming soon)
- Users do not require an additional license
- End Users
Configuring Events in My Schedule for

To configure this feature for end users:
- Ensure the following configuration is complete:

Navigate to Business Admin > Objects > Veeva Settings > Global Veeva Settings.

Select Edit.
- Select the enable_schedule_medical_event__v Veeva Setting check box.
Viewing Events in My Schedule as

Medical Events display in My Schedule if the user is the owner or an attendee. To view details, select the entry in My Schedule.
Medical Events do not display in event attendees’ calendars if the event_attendee_status__v field on their event_attendee__v record is set to rejected__v.
The event details popover displays the following information for Medical Events:
- Location
- Address - iPad users can select the address hyperlink to send account-based Medical Event addresses to Apple Maps or Google Maps from My Schedule, if the location__v or address__v fields are populated
- Start date and time
- End date and time
- Object type
- Owner, if the current user is not the owner
In My Schedule’s Agenda View on the iPad platform, the following event details display for Medical Events:
- Location
- Owner, if the current user is not the owner
- Object type
