The medical_event__v Object

The medical_event__v is a custom object that is pre-configured to meet multiple needs. The medical_events__v object can be configured as needed and customization as required. There are several key aspects of the Medical Event that are core to the Vault CRM product.

To configure this feature:

1. Ensure Accounts are configured.
2. Navigate to Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets.
3. Select the appropriate permission set.
4. Select the Objects tab.
5. Grant end users the following permissions:

   			account__v active__v address__v alternate_name__v description__v end_date__v name__v link__sys local_currency__sys location__v object_type__v owner__v start_date__v status__v	Edit

6. Grant end users Execute permission to the following medical_event__v object actions:
   • Add Attendee
   • Add My Attendance
   • Manage Attendees
   • View Signatures
7. Select the Pages tab.
8. Grant access to the Medical Events Manage Attendees page.
9. Navigate to Admin < Configuration > Objects > medical_event__v.
   • Select the Object Types tab
   • Select Actions
   • Grant access to the following object type actions for the appropriate object type(s):
     • Add Attendee
     • Add My Attendance
     • Manage Attendees
     • View Signatures
10. Add the Event Attendee related list to the following layouts:
    • medical_event__v
    • account__v
11. Add the signature_datetime__v column to the Event Attendee related list on the appropriate medical_event__v layouts.
12. Navigate to Admin < Configuration >Tabs.
13. Create a tab for the medical_event__v object.
14. Navigate to Business Admin > Objects > vmobile_object_configuration__v.
    • Ensure there is an active VMOC for the medical_event__v object for offline platforms
    • Ensure the exclude_field_list__v field on active VMOCs for the event_attendee__v object contains signature__v
